We will advise on any special trips this year as soon as information is available.

The School of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology of Liverpool University held a Summer School from 25th July to 5th August 2011 which included, inter alia, a series of Lectures on the transition from Old to Middle Kingdom Egypt and an Introduction to Hieroglyphs. It was extremely interesting and gave people insights into events in less well known periods in early Egyptian history. It was also very well supported having attracted students of all ages from a very wide geographical area. There will be another Summer School this year and details will be advised nearer the time of the meetings.
